My journey into the realm of Entrepreneurship motivated me to encourage other women to come forward and unlock their potential as ENTREPRENEURS and achieve their dreams on their own.

When I began chasing my dreams, I realized that the path to SUCCESS is not that easy. But with undying Spirit and undeterred Attitude, one can live one’s dreams. Be a winner mentally and leave the rest. Hurdles come but one must move on as Dreams are bigger than challenges. Life is amazing when you work hard and achieve success and your Goals become bigger than your grievances and grudges. The key to success in Today’s fast-changing world is to work with an open mind and open eyes and surpassing all the negativity surrounding you. Be Positive, think Positive and live Positive.

What I learned more in my journey is that the mark of a woman lies in her ability to carry herself through every challenge, every ordeal and every storm. She does not need anybody’s shoulder to cry or lean on but a strong and helping hand to help her sail through the hardships of life and venture into new avenues. She has liberated herself from all the stigmas and has moved towards achieving new domains, new horizons and new limits.

Sir Richard Branson is a great inspiration to me as he has rightly remarked that how entrepreneurialism can be a force for enormous social good, bringing communities together, reducing women’s financial dependence on men, and giving them control of their health and futures. If women started businesses at the same rate as men, global GDP would be better off to the tune of $28 trillion by 2025. We can only begin to imagine what positive impact this would have on the planet and all people. He further says, “Let’s not just encourage women to smash through the glass ceiling, but empower them to build their own towers. Those with family commitments or a desire to do something different are perfectly placed to benefit if they do.”

Women comprise half the population of the world and if they constitute the same percentage of the workforce also, the World will be a better place to live in. With women on board, work places would be more tolerant, diverse and creative and would be better equipped to tackle all future challenges. Women being natural multitaskers are better than men at business. And when more women don the leadership mantle, the paradigm shifts are bound to happen.

There would be a subtle shift from the old conservative and stereotype mindsets to the new and liberating ones; a welcome change. Per MasterCard Index of Women Entrepreneurs, “there is significant potential to harness the untapped potential of women’s entrepreneurship in India”. And Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s start-up friendly environment in the country has proved to be a blessing for female entrepreneur.

Let’s salute ‘The Spirit of Womanhood’ on March 8^thand applaud the success of those women who have broken all stereotypes, carved a niche for themselves. And constantly remind us that if we have the will to succeed, the dream to achieve whatever we aspire for and the grit and determination to conquer the world, then the ‘Sky is Limitless’. Each one of us can be an entrepreneur as entrepreneurship comes from within and from our attitude.
